Today was my first day back playing at the WSOP this year. I decided to start with the ladies event to ease back into the swing of things. Good news is I'm finally getting my mojo back. Bad news is I busted with only 180 women left out of 1190. Grrrrrrrr.
I can't even describe how bitter sweet this tournament was for me. I had so much fun playing, but I'm not quite sure if it was poker being played in this event. Not to knock women players, but there were some horrific plays that even my little nieces wouldn't do. However, there were a few women sitting at my table that played really well.
The best thing about playing in ladies events are the funny memories that will always make me laugh when reminiscing. Today I had some great laughs and made a few friends along the way. My own personal comedy was on the 2nd break I skipped the obvious bathroom close by and headed to the secret bathroom down by one of the banquet halls. I was in my own world at that moment, talking on the phone, that I walked right into the bathroom and see a guy at the urinal. "Holy Shit!" was the phrase I believe I said as I quickly bolted for the door. As I turned around, I almost bulldozed two chicks that had followed me into the guy's bathroom. hhahahahhaha. We all had a good laugh.
