Master Cleanse and Cleaning House

Tonight I begin the process of a modern day torture method called the Mater Cleanse, or otherwise known as the Lemonade Diet. I'm actually not doing this to loose weight like in the past getting ready for Fashion Week. This time is for getting my body back in balance and healthy. If you haven't heard of it or don't understand what I'm talking about, go check it out for yourself. :) You can buy the 50 page book The Master Cleanser, by Stanley Burroughs, at any Whole Foods or other bookstore. There is plenty on the web about the cleanse, some good some not. I'll include some links on here that will be helpful as well. I have plenty of time to write this week, so check back if you're really interested. Also I'm doing some research and writing my own thesis which I'll explain in a much later blog.

With all that said, today is my last day to enjoy all the food I can. I'm not pigging out... like I did last night, but it's pretty close. I'm trying to decide what my last meal will be. It's a toss up between Sushi or Thai. Last night was junk food city and as much sweets as possible. My lil sis and I went to see the new Indiana Jones movie. Before the movie we stopped by to pick up I think the whole chocolate candy isle including those Andes mint chocolates. Yum,

At the movie theater we bought even more candy (sourpatch kids that weren't stale!) and the largest Cherry Cola I've ever seen in my life. Bring on the show! Only this show sucked. Sucked a big fattie, a swag fattie made of oregano. Erinn and I had to leave. We knew we should have watch Harold and Kumar again, that movie rocks.

Other than that I've been cleaning up the house and throwing out all the things I don't need. Going though my closet has been quite fun and uplifting. I'm giving away tons of clothes I don't wear anymore and donating them to a local woman's shelter. It's time to move on and move out. Seems quite fitting since I'm doing the Master Cleanse, don't you think?

Something to make me smile...

Well, I'm back in Vegas and the World Series of Poker starts next week.. I have been ordered to snap the f* out of it and force myself to be happy, regardless of all the bad things going on in my personal life. Those are things that I can't control; And the things that I can change, I must. God, please give me the courage. I'm not going to apologize for not writing as much as I should. I have however been journaling. It's not the kind of thing I'd like to share with everyone. I'm going to take baby steps, "5 days old" baby steps, to become myself again. Here is a photo that brings a smile to my face: Jaxon and my best friend Alex Lee Behan. Guess how many days old he is...

Coast to Coast Poker Championships

I just busted from the 1k bounty tournament here at the Coast to Coast. Bummer, but It's almost impossible to be tilted when you play in Vancouver. The second I walk outside I always seem to reset and find something fun to do. I'll be going more into detail about the tournament itself on my poker listings blog, but I must say I love playing here at the River Rock. Even with a $1k bounty on my head I had a great time... if only I hadn't gone card dead in the last few levels. Guess I'm saving it all up for the main event Friday. I can't wait! Either way things have been pretty difficult for me these past 2 months so I'm here to have fun!

It's amazing how the second I left Vegas I feel as though I'm slowly getting back to my old self. It's been very difficult getting back on my feet again. If it wasn't one thing it was the next and then some. I know I haven't blogged in forever and things are still a bit vague, but all there is to say is that I'm surprised I made it through. Enough about sad shit... things have been so great the past few days! I'll make sure to write more a little later when I have a bit more time. Hope everyone is having a great week.
xoxo

Vancouver, B.C.

It has been quite some time since I last blogged, with the exception of one poker listings blog I did last week. Things have not been as great as they should, but everything is looking up. I'm alive and having the time of my life up here in Vancouver for the next few weeks. This time I will force myself to blog and say goodbye to the past. If you want to get all the fun details on the road trip I just took check out Devo's page: http://www.devopoker.com/ He is way better at keeping an up to date blog. Hope you enjoy.

As for me I'm about to play the first tournament today. My goal is to focus and leave all the bad stuff at the door. It's time to have fun and play! I miss all of you and I apologize for taking such a long break.
